yeah thats wot i reckoned would do it myself but cant be bothered with the hassle rather some done it for me, its going to get done once me car is finished with in the bodyshop.

No idea, never paid for anything from a garage in my life bar MOT's. I'd imasgine it would be around the £350 mark though.

i got quoted wait for it.... £180 and thats all gaskets thats to a c16xe so u was way off been told £400

Its just cost me £200 to get mine done & thats without any labor charges as the bf did it himself & we got the parts at trade price.

i work at vaux n its about 350 2get the headgasket done as u need all the top end gaskets, new cambelt etc. im about 2do it on mine n ive got my parts at my discount n everythin i need inc oil,anti-freeze,all the gaskets etc came 2 £125

i ordered :
- 2L anti-freeze
- headgasket
- inlet gasket
- exhaust gasket
- rocker cover gaskets
- carb cleaner
- 5L 10/40 oil
- cambelt kit (cambelt, tensioner and rollers)

lol.the headgasket only cost me £10.40 but its all the other bits that cost the money etc cambelt kit as u cant retighten a vauxhall 16v cambelt. 8v cambelts arnt as bad
