Seat have updated there site to the 2006 specs but there is no 1.9 Tdi Sport, anyone know if they have stopped producing the engine? Its not the beast thats in the cupra, its the one down only 100pd instead of 130. Was thinkin of buying one wen i sell my corsa, wot does everyone think of the ibiza's?

Na Seat do a Sport Trim, in a 1.4 and a 1.9 TDi. Only insurance group 5 instead of 8 and 12 like the FR and Cupra, not as fast but still gets ya from 0-60 in 10secs

im Only 19 so insurance on the FR and Cupra is astrinomical, the sport 1.9 100ps engine is a little kinda on my wallet, im suprised if they have stopped making it as its seats only engine in between there oversized go kart engine or the TDi rocket

A 1.9 TDi? I'd hope a 2.0 litre Corsa could keep up.

130ps models, probably going to be tight between that and a 2.0 Corsa.

And it will only be getting better - Mk5 Golf Diesel, chipped... so so scary. What's the point in petrol!?

Which is why I stated 130ps. Otherwise the XE would have no worries.

Go test drive the skoda Fabia Rs. I went and test drove one they my local skoda dealer had in and it had the more expensive remap to 170bhp and it was amazingly fast. Think it cost £1000+ the 130bhp remap cost £550. Thses can be done to any of the 1.9tdi engines, awsome gti do it. Good thing is you still get the amazing mpg and the re-map doesn't invalidate the warranty.
