i had my bones all cracked once , jesus the pain was unbearable , he cracked my neck so hard and fast i dont have a clue how he didnt break my neck .
my aunties been for accupunture in leeds , i dont think it helped

had it done on my heel once, was a kind where they hit the bone with needle, and soothes the pain area, really worked

I thought this, but the med school in their wisdom required me to do a research project into it and it does have some medical basis via nerve impulses and 'overloading' of brain/nerve centres...
IMO probably a bit of both, I'd take medical therapy anyday but if it works for you/the patient, then it's done its job

wasnt sure if it would have similar effect to the gate control theory of pain.
im skeptical, know a doctor whos same as me in the sense that wont believe something unless its been proven etc,he had it done as said it was the biggest piece of crap ever, didnt cure him, just put him in more pain, hence the placebo comment, if u believe its going to work, then it will, if u dont, then it wont...
