the curve looks not too bad but the torque is a tad low. to be fair standard engine is 150hp/145lb ft (or is it 150 lb ft) torque

try removing the ecotek valve, they make your car run lean...

power does look a tad low, as does torque. Would be good figures for standard engine, but with the straight through and induction kit, you would hope to see at least the high 150's and same for torque too. Delivery looks clean though.

i was hoping for 160 with the mods on there..

the mechanic said it was running fine no problems with the run..??

feels fine on the road too.....TBH 152 is a good figure for the engine but with the mods????

going to get a full service done and oil leak fixed (sump gasket)
starkie said could be something to do with gearbox...

the figures at the fly compared to the wheels does this look normal????

152 engine power and 117.9 at the wheels...is this the usual drop seen..??

starkie had similar drop and said it wasn't quite right???

yeh u seeem to be losing slight excess power through transmission, its normally about 10-15% loss through transmission

152bhp is standard power so u should be happy, powercap is crap, filter helps and zorst may gain 1-2bhp so all in all thats not bad

obviosly some healthier/stronger engine might pull that 8bhp ur after mav, dont just take that figure as ur power tho, u have to consider ambient temperature and everything, this vary throughout the day ........ u get me

thats a fair drop in power to the wheels, think thats not quite right tbh. Mav, id remove the ecotek valve, give it a full service and as said above get it set up on the rollers properly. Im pretty sure our audi only loses about 25bhp from fly to wheel power.

Mav gimme 5 mins ill look out the RR figures for our audi, ive had 5 or 6 done and ill see what the average power loss to wheels is, but 35bhp seems a hell of a lot.

Mav, ive got 7 graphs here for the audi in various states, most i ever lost on the rollers was when we got 202bhp, lost 26.8bhp from fly to wheels, all the others are between 24-26bhp

cheers stuart...

well seems everybodis is about 30 odd...I'll look out my graphs for the vectra at dastek and see what that was, also old corsa at star..

dave looking at all the results think the rollers are quite accurate..all you have to do is look at the CTR results to see rollers seem fine....The rollers are meant to be one of the best around, been to a few rr days there...
