how long u had him?
any tips for keeping them? what do they like?
ours can speak and dance but cant get them to yet as they need a while to get to know me
oh, plus one of them made the sound of the battery low smoke alarm test all bloody night - beeping every minute!! bastads

I have an avery.
I dont have any large parrotts. But i do have 2 Rockpeblars which are almost parrotts i guess. Bout same saize as african grey but most of it is wings and tail they are small bodied birds.
We also have 2 budgies about a million Zebra finches (got some for sale if anyone is interested) some Linyerlaters (spelling)

Billy does every annoying noise imaginable.
He can say loads funny stuff, loadsa catch phrases and stuff, they're really amusing
He likes anything thats bad for him i.e crisps,kebab,chips etc, my mums put him on a fruit and veg diet 
He likes biting and chucking stuff all over
and whatever u do dont give them chocolate or avocado!

we give him plenty of fresh fruit/peppers etc
he loves popcorn,rich tea biscuits,and he likes a drink of tea..

were told he can have a bit of chocolate each week but i think i wont bother just yet

jambo - a few years ago i was frying an egg in the kitchen when a zebra finch came in the kitchen and just sat on the frying pan handel and looked at me funny, put my finger out and he hopped on and kept him for a while then gave him away

They make wicked noises!

Had a sub-species of african grey called a Timney. His name was Charlie, we got him when he was about 3 and had him for 17 years. He didnt talk but made EVERY single noise that he heard, alarms, farts, burps, miaows, barks, you name it.....He had a stroke though and had to be put down at the end of last year

when the phone rings he says hello who is it
does the fire alarm, farts, and my mobile phone
also keeps moaning random phrases to himself but cant make out what he is saying, oh and barks too

they are superb, they will copy just about anything, not cheap to buy as babies tho
