My Ecotec pipe arrived with the adaptor plate. It was roughly made, and the welds were still black and dirty. Also it didn't come with any bolts to fit it, nor did it cme with any jubilee clips... Come on Cossvaux, sort it out or you'll end up like......................................

Not the best pics because it fitted it using bolts that held the wongs onto the Cav, funny how I still have those but I lost a few that I needed ....

Also, where does this go (red and black wire)?

and what happens with this multi plug? I can't see it plugging into anything much

red and black goes to battery positive, its the ecu live feed.
the multi plug needs to be 'trimmed of anything you dont need, although some wires go to somthing (which i cant remember!)

Ah, ok, so the wires will match up colour for colour pretty much and the others can be ditched because I assumed it was for the tell tales on the dash board e.t.c....

i thought u knew alot about xe's and corsa conversions ed. obviously not. the red and black is to go to the starter and if i was u i would use the corsa starter motor, alternator loom instead of that cav one. but im not up on these conversions much

When have I ever said that I know a lot about conversions? Why the aggressive post? Anyway, I thought you used the Corsa starter motor loom, but having never seen a starter motor loom before I didn't really know what one looks like.

i think it is red and black in some of the plugs before it goes into the bulkhead wiring etc like on astra gtes. its red and black then goes into a plug which is just black the other end. vauxhall do it to confuse u

I also used the corsa starter loom as it also plugs into the dash easier than having to modify the cavvie one to a multiplug. very basic and easy to put the corsa starter/battery loom onto the XE
