Hey all..

Interested in getting a second car soon..

How does insurance work on converstions? Do you just have insurance on say a 2lt Cav or Astra GTE?

As that is where the engine came out of? Is that how it works??

I will be doing a max 5000 miles a year in this second car.. mainly to and from work..

you say its a corsa with an engine from whatever car you pulled it from.

i think the nice tescos lady got confused when i told her the engine had about 300% the power of before and put down 30%.

either way she just asked percentage of power increase expected

yeh same here, but i said 1989 astra gte 16v, but its more in the corsa than the astra as lighter car!

astra GTE and corsa 16v's both weigh about the same...

the quote for the astra get was £150 less than the corsa, as the corsa is then modified and also he said its cos its lighter and more dangerous!!
