Few weeks ago a lad came and knocked on the door after seeing the written off pulsar sat there and asked if it was for sale.
Offered 1.5k for it as it was, bearing in mind i paid £800 for it to buy back from insurance and have had a few bits off it including the calipers all round which arnt cheap to replace.
He has been tonight and given me 1.3k and will bring the other £200 when he collects but here is the question.....
Instead of giving me the £200 he has offered to do the cambelt, water pump and clutch on the corsa including parts and labour. He actually works at the garage that MOT'd the corsa last.
Do you think thats worth it???

Yes. Less effort on your part and your still quids in as you only paid £800 for the Pulsar off the Insurance Co.

As long as the work is carried out to a good standard, then go for it.
Isn't it a bit dodgy that people "see" your car parked up? It's not exactly parked on the side of a main road...

Too many people "drive past" down that road... is it a shortcut to somewhere?
