a bus driver just hit me and has scraped all my wing mirror and he didnt stop!
i turned rnd and went to follow him and did so for about 5miles then he wasent stoping at all so i gave up but i have got part of his number plate and bus route number and will be taking pics!!!
i am gona ring the bus company in the morning and the local councel in the morning but shall i ring the police cos he failed to stop at an accident!!!!

yea mate its a criminal offence to not stop at the scene of an accident!

im sure he must off know he hit me, was right over my side of the road, i nearly curbed my wheel as i went into the curb!!!! he was going far to fast!!!
shall i ring the old bill now or wait untill i have spoken to the bus company 2morow?

ring old bill now otherwise they will wonder why u left it so long. also if you get a crime number from them you can give it to the bus companys insurance company and they will pay out.....u got any witnesses??? if not say a mate was in the car and he will vouch 4 u!

need to go into the police station and report it and luckly the bus station is right oposite it!!!

basically scratched all my right hand mirror which aint to cheap from vaux but that aint just the point!!! He didnt stop which pissed me off really, and if i was about 2 secs ahead of my self he would of hit my car full on side ways!

you followed him for 5 miles and only got PART of his numberplate?!

why didnt u overtake him then stop in front of him get out and moan, or park up get out and hop on the bus

I think you will find its not an offence.
You can drive to a safe place i.e a police station etc etc. He might have thought this person wanted to attack him.

Nope always been the way.
If a little old woman smashes in to a massive bloke she could drive on to the nearest safe place i.e a police station or some wher busy etc etc so she feels safer.

no i have just been told by the police that it is a falure to stop and i tried to remeber his full number plate but didnt have pen, paper or mobile on me!!!
the lady from the bus company told me the local bus station could be able to tell me who was driving the bus!!!

Unless its a big thump, the bus driver wont have felt it, buses are big remember, if hes just put a scratch on ur mirror then he wont even know hes done it, prob didnt see you in his mirror.

I thought this too surely when someones hit you, you can remember the number plate half an hour later. if not write it in a text to yourself or ring someone to tell them

Some twat in a council van hit me down the drivers side once and just drove off. Slammed my car into reverse and went into chase mode. Did a handbrake turn at some point  He ended up stopping half a mile down the road and says it was my fault yet he drove off. Was a total wanker and as it was just the black strip on the bumped damaged i left it. Got a new bit but never got around to fitting it. Really I should have got the Police involved!
