Im tempted to get Phase 0.

Its only £149 fitted and gives a small boost to 230bhp. Im allready running a large FMIC so got that sorted.

Just wanted to seek opinions and advice, im not looking to put anymore power through my car than this. I am currently running an F20, risk of the extra torque??? I dont drive like a looney all the time, so i treat my car well, but i find it runs better after a good spanking So am i going to destroy it?

I have heard LETs are releiable untill they are tuned. Is it "safe" to use just an ickle bit more boost?

Opinions please

You start with a "little" more boost and after a while want more and more and more and more until POP

Nope.

I absoloutely promise. My car did me proud at the pod, and i didnt loose much traction, its useable power. I dont want silly BHP in a FWD car, i will sell it before then!

I just want a tidge more power

phase 2 will run with standard internals as long as the engine is "safe and reliable".

FMIC will help yours, i just say go for it, fit an AFR guage as well

Phase 2 isnt all that more money the point im making is my foot was welded to the floor going up the strip i didnt have to ponce about trying to ease the throttle on to get the power down. Its USEABLE power. My car is bad enough on a non hot day, dont fancy 270+ being useable really.

Im was tempted to do more power etc, but id sooner rather buy a cally with 4x4 running gear or just buy an Evo (the plan of the future)

Brad whats an AFR guage?

Air Fuel Ratio, its shows if the engine is running rich, lean or stoichometric.

Id say go for phase 1 then, and trust me when you get into 3rd you will be able to use it!!

Phase 3 will be driveable if you learn how to launch and how to stop it just spinning up

car looked sweet at weekend, black mesh all round, smooth roof rails, handles, and concentrate on power now!!

Evo is fun, but wouldnt it be fun keeping with an evo in a corsa!!

you buy an evo and steve w races you mid range and keeps up, wouldnt u feel like a billy?

3rd is all well and good for the strip, but mines a road car, i drive it everyday!

Mines driveable now but even so it looses grip far to easily in 1st and 2nd. I cant see how more power would be that useable...

Guages are on the list!

get evo 2 at the most, but from your first post, I can't see any point in you spending 'anything' on it at all tbh Jamster.

My thought is, one extreme to another, do nothing or go the whole hog, I did the latter and I am enjoying the hard effort it took to get there.

He wouldn't ever need one whilst the car is for road use.

A stranger walking down the street would never know an LSD was there, or is Jambo a secret rally driver?
