ok at the risk of sounding dumb but can i get a like half cage for the back of my car but still have my rear seats? or will i have to lose them?

Yeah you can but it'd be for looks over functionality. If you saw OJC's his has a removalble hexagonal and looks really good

But no one will be able to sit in the seats because of the cross beam.

Removing the cross bars is not difficult so if you ever find yourself in a situation where somebody needs a lift you just get the allen key out and remove it and stick it in the boot.

if its for show use then look at the dimmer style cages. if its for function then toss the seats out

half cage custom made to fia spec, with one rear diagonal, wont haved an fia certificate as it costs £600 for a custom cage design to be tested at MIRA. but it will allow me to race the car in the UK if i wish, its only when you start going to alloys and none standard tubes that you need to get it tested in order to race

ive decided to strip the rear and and have a half cage in the backall money dependin at end of the month cos i go on hols.though im also thinkin i shud chage front seats 1st as it may look pants with a cage in n original seats
