My car keeps cutting out when im just pulling up to roundabouts/junctions etc. I have been told it is due to the speed sensor. I have just had my 1.0 12v replaced with a 1.4 16v and the lad i got the engine off says i need to join a wire to the red/blue wire comin from the transducer and link it to one of the wires on the ecu, just wondering if anyone can tell me what colour wire or the pin number on the ecu that it needs connecting to

An interesting post, http://www.migweb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=198355&highlight=red+blue+wire

by sounds of it if it doesnt work doing it to pin d10 as stated there might be an idea to try another set of clocks or another sensor, however i cant see how dash would pickup speed if there was something wrong with the sensor, but as that guy said he tested his with volt meter and wasnt working properly yet his clocks were working? try send him a u2u and see if he ever got it sorted
