Does ne1 here kno much about Auto gas conversions ie prices, opinions, etc.
Is it true that engines using autogas still need to be started using petrol??

you can start on gas.....some cars have a kinnda prime push button to push to aid starting.
Prices, the tank is the expencive part. But you can get a tank 2nd hand. Then you need injectors and to be able to kid the ecu its on petrol
Much easier and cheaper if your on carbs tho

also you probably will save upto 50% of your fuel bills, but it depends if you can get the gas locally.........if you cant then its going to be a bugger.

I kno a station local(ish) that sells it. Considering how much id be saving i wouldnt mind the trek there every now n then on the way home from work.
BTW i mis-read the quote, that was without VAT - the total would be £1900

hmmm tempting at that price BUT I really wouldnt fancy messing around fitting a fuel system with very little mechanical knowledge. Plus my fiancee wouldnt let me lol.
Out of interest, would it be possible to have the filler cap in the boot to keep the outside of the car lookin tidy??
