Oooops, forgot where this goes, or in fact what it is :red face:

I think it either goes on the bottom of inlet manifold or on the plastic coolent pipe around here....

Oh, and near there too Thanks to MattB for fitting the timing belt

Looks like it goes on the manifold, that hose nearly meeting the coolant pipe most prob goes on there.

it's the icv. short hose to the stub on the manifold, long hose up to the bottom of the sfi, or in this case to the back facing connection on the ecopipe

Thought so, Matt even told me that it was the ICV, it just doesn't seem to fit in that gap too well... Also, do you know if its the red plug or the black plug that goes into it off of the small loom? This is confusing, maybe I should have made my disassembly notes a bit more thorough

think it's black. not 100%
it'll still run without it connected anyway.
mine wasn't plugged in for a few months since putting the head back on last time untill i wondered why it was idling funny.

change the angle of the water hose coming off the rail to make the icv fit better?

It does fit, I just thought it slightly strange for all the hoses to be so elaborately kinked around things and then have the ICV fit tightly against one...
