seeing the post with all those american slu.ts in it has got me thinking today...
basically I am supposed to be going to my mates wedding in America in August... the flights are booked, and there is a group of 10 of us heading out to Florida for what will most probably be the holiday of a lifetime....
BUT.... its not going to come cheap, and will mean thrashing the last of my savings on a holiday.... approx 2k
Now, there is the option of going out there just for the wedding, and it would cost a fraction of the full holiday, as I would only be there for just under a week, and wont get the chance to see or do much.
This would mean I still have cash left over to do the finishing touches to my car... which I dearly want to do!!
I know my mates wedding comes first, so the question really is would you go for the full holiday, and live it up, or finish your car??? 
ive never really been a fan of spending big money on a holiday which will give you nothing to show for your hard earned money.... but then theres those american birds....Mmmmm fine!

Have a holiday, the bits on the car you can do at a later date when you've saved some more money, where as having a holiday later would mean two lots of flights to the states...

Go for a full holiday definately. Florida is a once in a lifetime opportunity unless your very lucky. Im going for the second time this year, was there 10 years ago when I was a kid, with a few mates but its not going to be a major drinking holiday as there is so much to do and see. All them roller coasters for a start

I went when I was about 14, did all the theme parks in florida/orlando etc.
this time its gonna be a different story

im thinking about going out there next year.. i will be 24, and will have more money than i do right now, so i can afford to "do it proper like"
not sure where the best place would be tho.. orlando/miami is done to death.. maybe somewhere like the DeepSouth... love their accents down there...
