Hi,
Now i know abit about computers but i have paid no attention to the market place for over a year and so much has changed!
i am now looking to buy a laptop in the next few months and i am wondering what to go for! My home PC is a Sony Viao with a 3.06ghz processor so i am used to fast speeds!
Here is my 'wish list' i dont know if any of this stuff is possible lol
* Large screen (15.4-17")
* Large HDD (over 60 would prefer 100gb)
* Needs to have wireless capabilities (will come back to this in a min)
* DVD/CD Burner
* Decent sized graphics card (128+)
Basicly my needs will be
- Download, watch and burn off DVD movies
- Download, listen to, burn off and send music to ipod
- Play the odd game on it (probably wont be that often but needs to be able to cope with relativly new games)
- Some photoshopping but nothing too intensive
-Obviously do lots of word processing, databases, power points that sort of thing as i will be in uni
- And browse the t'internet loads!
The wireless thing i mentioned above will be for when i am at home i want to be able to have access to the net at home on my laptop wirelessly. I currently have a 1 meg BB service coming through a router to the PC and off to another PC which will be gone soon. What will i need to buy to be able to access the BB on my laptop?
Thats about all i can think of right now 
So if anyone can recomend any laptops that i should consider please post some links for me! I am not too sure on budget at the moment so to be on the same side i wont want to go over a 900-1000
