Spent the day at Knockhill on Sunday watching the Rally Cross Championships (mixture of tarmac and gravel surfaces). SO much more fun that straight tarmac racing. Had some real monsters there. The Ford Fiesta was 4WD and 550bhp. The Citroen was 740bhp and 4WD. These cars are reputed to have a 0-90 time comparably to F1

The Corsa was a 2L running on throttle bodies and won its class. It went into the final against the big boys and was lapping in a very respectable 45 seconds (against 41secs for the leaders). Not bad for simple FWD drive car that prob cost around a tenth of the big boys!
