Works great for me all around the flat. Back at home i have a BT Voyager 2000 and that works great too, mainly why i went for another routher fom BT.
Do you have the BT card in your system? If not i recomend your purchase one as it could be that, or, it could be a dodgy card you have in your system.

Bart, what it is, i'm going to share my broadband connection with another guy in the block of flats i live in. He's offered £120 for a year up front. Seems a nice guy but would like to know what he is doing
If he's hitting dodgy sites then i'll block his mac address and tell him it's broken or something He's only got a crappy system so don't think he'll be up for peer-to-peer etc.

Ad Hoc is where it uses the wireless connection from another source such as a pc or another wireless laptop if it is between you and the router.
So instead of your laptop takings it connection straight from the router its from the laptop/pc in between.
(so long as the PC/Laptop inbetween is set to allow ad-hoc connections)
