some insurance companys do accelarated NCB, where if you have been insured 3rd party for a year or have been on motor cycle insurance for a year, at the end of your first insurance year with them, they give you an extra free, but can not be transferd to any other insurance company.

that annual mileage crap is bollox, i always stick in 6000 miles per annum when i do more like 11k. how are they ever going to know how many miles you have done, they dont ask for the mileage when you take out the policy

I limit the mileage on the Impreza to 5,000 per year (even though I only do about 2,500) and yes they asked me for my mileage when I took out my policy!
