Need to do a change this week. What oil is good? Thinking of getting a decent branded one. What grade is good for a 1.2 8v? Cheers!

That's what the book says in Halfrauds 15w/40! Was going to get some of the Castrol Magnatec stuff. Or I could get Castrol High Milege cheap from Wilkinson!

get a 5w40 fully synthetic or a 10w40 semi (vaux stuff)

agreed with Vibs used the Vauxhall 10w40 semi synthetic a fair few times in my old Corsa

Shall go up there tomorrow then. I need to get some Locking Wheel nuts from them anyway! No-one recommends branded oil over Vaux oil then?

10/40w Vauxhall oil on ebay.
4x 5 litres, works out less than a tenner for a 5l bottle.

A little cheaper than my trade club price, but not as cheap as when my mate used to let me have them for free

Castrol GTX High Milage is good. I use that in mine and it stops it being so tappy
