I work for a firm that carries out insurance works, leave it running for a bit so it damages the walls/ceiling/kitchen and when the loss adjuster come out they will probably renew the whole lot if they are damaged. the amount of claims i see that could have easily been prevented equals about 80%

most people just cash in on the accident.
