Started today, preety much all of the sri engine is dissconected apart from mounts, and brakes and calpier off on drivers side.

Still fucking about getting driveshafts off the cav though so we can get the xe out

Got a 16v header tank yesterday and some engine and gearbox oil

Was just wondering if anyone has ever used the xe rad before, i know alot of people use the normal corsa one though!!

are you using the driveshafts from the cav or not?, if not then get out the angle grinder and cut the shafts near the wheel end and pullthem out.

More progress today had the bonnet off in the morning, and strated removing the corsa engine:

Had that out, so moved onto the cav one got that out and over to the corsa, almost via our living room window

Got it in place and bolted the pass side mount:

only to find i was sent the wrong drivers side mount all going well up to this point, so im abit stuck now with tomo being a bank holiday!

Sounds like a track rod end not a ball joint... Buy them new, they are less than £30 and it's ugly when they break...
