Just read this story on the bbc site http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/staffordshire/4578495.stm

And quite frankly it had made my piss boil. If banning him for life for being so ugly wasnt enough this dick head got caught doing 105mph and got banned for 28 days and had to pay £36 court fees and a £1500 fine which is equivalent to us getting fined a tenner. How long would we be banned for if we were caught doing that sort of speed? Wanker

Nor me, footballers and the like will always get off lightly, as they have the money to warp the system.

You probably wouldn't get banned - or maybe 28 day max.

I think he was treated quite fairly. He was obviously (due to the fine) on a motorway when he got caught and having driven on a couple of motorways myself, 106mph is pretty much average speed for the outside lane traffic..

I assume he was also in a pretty high spec car so it would've been well within the limitations of the car to do such speeds and safely stop from such speeds.

It's not hard to have more than one car when your Britains Most expensive defender in history with wages that over a 10 year period will match

Whilst i agree that you disagree ( ), he didn't get around it and he still got the same (posibly worse) punishment as Joe Public.

With the amount of money he has, he could've (and probably should've) got away with it altogether!

i was talking in general, not just this particular case
prime example dexter holland of the offspring, killed his wife but the record company paid the courts to get him out of jail
