Opinions on these? Considering a 1.8T model. Not overly quick but I do love golfs.

Anyone know where i can find more info on them, specs etc?

Agreed (sounding like a parrot tonite)

The 1.8Ts are highly tuneable and they are stunning motors, if you can find one at the right price go for it but expect to pay a little more than a GTI

Another option im looking at is the Seat Leon Cupra R, cheaper and faster.

Opinions?

better value for money and nicer than the mk4.
if you do decide on the aniversary, try and find the diesel.. 150 brake pumpa diesel is an exeptional engine imo

there is the very 1st one ever made up for 14k on e bay at the mo.there alot better than the standard 1.8T loads of trick bits on them

Not really, im just trying to work out wot im gunna be lookin at in about 10 months time so i know how much to save towards

Im really swinging towards the Leon at the mo, I do love the golfs but they are a bit slow and quite a bit more £££

Haven't you got a mk 2 golf?? Think the main scope for depreciation is long gone tbh
