With memory cards, does it make that much differnce if you go for branded ones like Lexar or Kingston compared to the cheaper ones such as pure or impact?

mmm some of the cheaper ones can fail more frequently than the better makes. I only buy sandisc

Postage is 7 quid but I've found thats still cheaper than local trade places or ebay.

I found ebay to be the chepest by about half compared to everywhere else.
