Those with show cars, do you use them?... i.e everyday...
or
do you have a second shite one that you use?.....

In the process of deciding whether to go all out and turn the car into a show car or not.... hmmm...

Cheers

i went to the NEC car show when XJ220 was released, and been to a couple at silverstone.

not been to any max powers style shows, with shopping cars and people who waste money on them

buy a canoe if u like fibreglass, don't stick it to ur car

I use mine and when it comes back out of the bodyshop i will continue to use it. No point in spending all that money on a car if u r not going 2 enjoy it.

I think ive got the italian attitude when it comes to cars.....fuck what it looks like so long as it runs well Every time I have wee bumps in my car I just laugh about it

Like when i spun my mr2 into the central reservation my only hope was it still drove straight And when I hit a sea gull at 140mph I just laughed at my mate screaming & shiting himself & when I drove into the fence at work just laughed about it with my boss and said fuckit & when a young lass just past her test drove into the back of me and started crying I laughed then aswell and told her to calm the fuck down

Fuck the paintwork so long as it runs well

i drive mine when im back from uni at weekends, and all through easter and summer break.
I would never leave at uni, just because it getting keyed/dented/stolen is my worst nightmare

whats the point in having a car if you dont drive it all the time/when you can

gildon if youre at uni just leave it at home and get the train! Thats what i do, whats £30 on a train once a month rather than a repair bill for a keyed car etc.
I drive mine to shows, shopping, towns, all sorts when im at home, on a farm it goes up and down a track, mini moto thrown in the boot i use it, but its never left for long parked up in a car park, door dents are another problem!!

when i get mine back tomorrow, I'm not going to use it very much cos i dont want to get it damaged. Ok, so ive spent lots on it, but would be mad if it got damaged this time. Besides, I want it in best condition possible for shows, not like it was before(a mess).

Ive got a nova, and also use my dad's XR3i or 306 whenever i drive somewhere. End of year, am getting summit newer and nicer as a runaround.

When mine is 100% i do drive it on sunny dry days, as again i dont want to mess up the paint work and stuff.
its far from locked away, nothing better then a sunny day out in the V6

the only reason i have for a while is
clutch went so decided to take it off the road and fit the 3lt V6 and 6 Speed box ready for PV, and not had time to test it or run in it........

I dont use mine everyday, but sometimes i wont use a car for a day or 2!

I use my other corsa to go to work when im on earlies as the thought of leaving my car in the car park from 2.30am onwards isnt good!

Although i have done it before!

I use mine when ever i can, but its gotta be on the road to use it
