we had a few good ones last week:
1) family came in, ordered meals, then went to bar, their son got ID'd, had none (was pikey, looked about 15) so wasnt served, 5 minutes later we brought the food to their table, son kicks off sayin ghe doesnt want his food as he cant eat a meal without a pint, says he wants refund on food etc, mother takes his side and says 'but youve served him before, you have to serve him now its the law'
2) manager ID'd a 16 yr old lad, obviously he had no ID, his mother said she wanted to complain to head office about the manager, saying its unfair that she ID'd her 16 yr son and its discrimination against him
3) family came in, ordered food, what they ordered we'd ran out of, so she went across to KFC, and brought that food in to whetherspoons to eat, coz of this manager ID'd her sons, (both of which were about 14-16), she kicked off sayin shes goina get him sacked as hes only ID'n her 'kids' coz she wouldnt eat our food
