The component set are 6ohms what effect will this have wehn i link them to the amp above which is 80wrms at 4ohms? or 2x110wrms at 2ohms?

you'll get less than 80wRMS
so your really looking for an amp that will push about 150wRMS @ 4ohms - then it will give you about 100/120wRMS @ 6ohms, and plenty of head room to turn gains down abit to cut distortion etc

165 KP comps are a 4 ohm load, i know i have a set...
and i power mine with 200w rms a side.

My K2P's are 4 ohm load so i imagine ur KP's being 4 aswel
