Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

My new rear bumper got delivered today, was glad that it had arrived as I wanted to have it fitted along with some other bits & bobs before PVS

Opened up the packaging & its taken a right beating

First thing I noticed was that the area arounf the exhaust cut out was almost hanging off! It will be fairly easy to fix by the looks of thing but I was still mad that it was damaged

Started to remove a bit more of the bubblle wrap & I notice that there is a dent in the side.......

Take more of the bubble wrap off & find a crack around the top...

Same on the other side....

& then finally I notice there is damage in the top corner of the bumper too

Has really pissed me off because after spending all day fannying around removing sound deadening from my car & trying to make it look respectable for PVS I now simply can't be arsed anymore

Well all the cracks look clean & fresh. You can tell when something has been damaged for a while as dirt gets into it etc

I bought it on ebay from a member who is registered on here. Its not his fault but he is helping me sort it

I work for UPS

How was it packed etc??

As said fiberglass is very fragile comaped to normal plastic bumpers, doesnt take much to damage it if its not packed properly.

You got a pic of the packaging?

Is that the bubblewrap in the pic? If so then theres no way it would protect it

Apologies on behalf of UPS btw

It was bubble wrapped yes

Bare in mind that it is a Pug 206 bumper smoothed in to a corsa one. There is no reason why it should crack like that around the exhaust
