if i win an auction , do ebay do a thing where they guarentee you get the product otherwise they refund you? as ive seen something for £500 and he had 0 feedback ,and i dont fancy chancing loosing £500 notes.

Pay by credit card on paypal. You can get your money back from the credit card company, or at least my mate did when he nearly get skanked.

Yesh, only with credit card mind, no debit cards or direct debit bollox because unless you pay by credit card, the only people that eBay/PayPal protect are themselves.
