mine's a corsa b (s reg, 98) sxi, standard engine.
i got 110mph out of it on the M5 the other week.
quite impressed as i didn't think they would do over 105.

used to have 118 on the clocks of my old 1.2. but being a vauxhall speedo, would had been jst over 100 i reckon

Mine pulls to 95mph. Will do 110 down hill. Altho the tyres are a bit flat and I'm a pie, got a sound system in the boot too. Don't really care cos i drive it at 70 anyway

i had 120 downhill on the way back from bluewater in my old 1.2 nova swing, my 1.4 corsa goes 140 though...

It was downhill though but it was shaking abit

The 1.2 16v engine has come a long way since it was first introduced in the Corsa.

Corsa B = 65bhp
Corsa C = 75bhp, 80bhp for the twin port version

98' 1.2 8v, had 90 on a long stretch of flat with 14"s on, 100 downhill.

Now with 16"s and a sub etc, can manage 95 downhill and about 83 on the flat lol
