I was at Mallory Park today (its only 15 mins from my house) and they had Stock racing on the 1 mile Oval. I expected there to be a load of really raggedy looking corsas there but instead found a whole load of tidy wide arch 2.0 corsas, Novas, Saxos, 206's, 205's, New shape Clios and stuff like that. Because they run on the Oval, they run really strange cambers on the outer wheels, looks bizarre!
Really close racing the whole time and some good racing from some big Nascar style V8's from the USA.
Great day, got a bit rouge from the sun though
Ben.

The Lightning Series was really good, I enjoyed the whole day - 24 races in total @ 8-10 laps per race and a changeover time of only about 2 minutes. Mallory Park really is an excellent circuit compared to the others ive been to around the country on the same kind of size and level.
Should have a Corsa meet there sometime
