7 months....

lots extra been done over orig plan, plus waiting for parts has added to time...

1 x 88mm forged piston + ring set esp

complete new top end:

SBD valve gear to take lairy cams on 'powerzone' flowed/ported etc coscat head.
ARP head bolts
metal head gasket
etc


completey new bottom end:

rebored to 88mm
using SBD 88mm pistons
all new bearings etc

rebuilt gearbox:

new seals,
c20let input shaft
lightened/balanced flywheel
uprated c20let clutch
build G/B with Tran-X plate diff

new injectors/plugs/leads

fit and set up TB's
fit and map DTA 3D ECU

its 2.1


my orig block was 2.0
i bought a 2.1 block, but it had scoring on 1 cylinder, so decided to bore out existing 2.0 from 86mm to 88 mm as 88mm is pretty much the maximum on the std xe block.

should be living then

make sure they put oil in it before starting it

a guy i heard about got his car all rebuilt and a new tx box
didnt put oil in the tx box and it went bang

what would need to be changed in order for the xe to run a let flywheel, and an f20 a let clutch...
