£200 maybe!
It cost me £100 to get my boot lock and wiper smoothed.
A solenoid could be cheap or expensive

£250 roughly - £350 would have a relocated recess put in your rear bumper as well - all sprayed as well

Corsa B ones are £350 roughly with relocated plate recess - and theyre more work than the c - so £300 seems a little hefty

is the welding the metal plate over the recess the best way of doing it? removing also boot lock wiper and the washer thing that sprays water at the window?

yes - the fibbreglass panels can be better but only if u get experienced GRP specialists to fit and smooth it in - Ive seen real bodge jobs from bodyshops who simply tigerseal it on and smoothl the edges with filler - it needs to be epoxy'ed on, and have a layer of bx or csm around it to give it structural rigidity, then smoothed with a single skin of surface tissue all over - the slightest skim of filler and sanded and its done - hence why it needs a specialist who knows what tehy re doing with GRP / FRP
I can do this - but I still got a metal plate welded in instead -I just trust it more -
try to find a bodyshop thats done it b4 tho - the shop I uses has done mine stubbsys, Jaffas, ( now shrews corsas) adamblackcorsas and numerous others - and not one has had a complaint to make
saying that Ive seen horror stories about the metal plate method as well - DJ Rocky had a bodge job done first time round

Lexus have a boot - hence the airflow over the car is different to that of a small hatchback - water tends not to flow over the car and down the screen on a bigger car
corsas get water running down the back -
tbh tho - Ive never had a problem except in the most attrocoiuos weatehr ( heavy storms etc) but tbh the rear wiper on a corsa is one speed and in a storm cant cope anyway

Midas styling do it for £125. Then obviously the cost of a solenoid on top of that
£300 is way out methinks
