i have a photo on a sunny day and the sun shining in front to of the shot and it Silhouettes the subject in the photo, is there anyway of brightening the subject up using tools on photoshop ive tried a few but i cant get it to look good

not much you can do with that as theres not a lot of contrast, you wont pick out any detail, more likely you'll just get a skater in varying grayscales.
