Right look at this pic

what do you think this guy used to clean up the plastics in his engine? im guessing he used some sort of metal polish for the engine. Also does anybody know where they got that chrome rocker cover thingy with vauxhall on it?

Use any metal polish after rubbing it down, and you'll get super shiny cover. But it'll get shitted up pretty quick, mine did.

Use Autosol or Peek for best results.

metal is probably Keep or Brasso << keep lmfao its peek as said above

plastics is probably Autoglym BUmper Care then heated with hair cryer to really bring it up and seal it....

the cover may just be chrome plated i don't really know... it looks nice in the pics but unless it was metal in real life cud look tacky... i'd just colour code ures and polish it up

That was just polished up. Didn't bother again as it got all tarnished soon as it got wet.

spark cover a piece of polished stainless? with a grey vaux sticker over the top.

looks like it's bolted down, and i'm sure the standard plastic ones, slide and clip into position.

get the engine to max temp on tick over (till the fan kicks in) and keep it running, spray watered down TFR (Traffic film remover) over the engine bay and leave for a min. now jet wash it all off and then when done spray duck oil all over. this absorbs the water and gives that finish if not better.

hey i only have a 1.0 litre and its brought it up fine. Im just looking to neaten the engine bay up. I think when i get home im gonna take the whole air box out and blast it with the water pump thing.
Im gonna get some of that gunk stuff adam was on about, that should help out abit more.
I also need to sort out the battery holder, as its started to rust.
