I ordered a 7" screen from here http://www.tgincar.co.uk/ss7inch.htm for a customer. as you can see in the link its silver and nice. heres wot i had delievered

thats bits not really the problem as its going to be smoothed beyond recognition BUT (the kind of legal bit)
on that website it clearly says its PAL/NTSC compatible, yet when i read through the instructions that came with this it says its just NTSC (pic, dunno if u can read it)

im not fussed about how it looks as itll be ainted anyway, but if this means it wont work with playstation or tv or wotever as its all PAL here, then ill have to send it back, which i dont really want to do as its gotta be in and painted by PVS.
Wot do i do?!

If item is different ot what was advertised then you can return it i would have thought as they didnt deliver you the product described. Unless tey have that gash system of if the thing u wanted was OOS then they send u the next best thing

If it described it being PAL and it isnt, its been mis-sold.
Like me buying a car thats a turbo off someone and it not bieng a turbo, i.e its a lie mis information to gain as sale.
Should be fine about returning it

NTSC is format used by other countries, primarily america, it was kinda set up for the same reasons region dvds were, to stop trade of electronic goods between the countries on the cheap tax free.
Basically any Playstation, or anything bought in the UK will be PAL. So it wont work, some TV have built in decoders that allow you to flick between formats so try the menus in the TV first. Other than that send it back, or order a playstation from the US

No if you put a PAL input onto an NTSC it will be black and white and more than likely fuzzy.
You can do a fix for the PS2 but it involves voiding the PS2 warrantly and briding with solder on the mainboard

I havent had any problrms with TG but i have heard of lots of people that have. Im currently trying to find the main supplier of ARKON screens so i can just buy straight from them and not through TG. However im not having much luck tracking any suppliers down that supply ARKON products.
Anyone help?
Cheers

Due to factory /supplier changes and new models,The goods may differ
slightly from the images shown. We will not ship any items that is
greatly different to the one shown (except on the packages, where
we reserve the right to ship items different from those shown but
of the same specification or better)
He has even voided his own terms as that screen looks nothing like it. Thats from his terms and conditions

email them and tell them your not happy.
ask for a slight refund, a proper replacement and when you post it back before you do so demand they repay your postage!
