First of all ill say hello as im new here, but have been browsing for a few weeks before registering .

Im soon hoping to buy a Corsa B with a budget of 1000 punds. I was gonna go for a 1.2 purely for lower insurance. But after viewing the performance stats on the 1.2 8v on this site im quite dissapointed in the bhp and 0-60 times.

Can any1 tell me their experiances with the 1.2 8v and what the best performance boost you can gain with engine mods.

How old are you? Id personally go for a 1.2 16v SXi

I cant speak for 1.2 8v, but i had a 1.2 16v and that did me for a year, and that was slow

Hiya, ive got a 1.2 8v and if you are dissapointed just by looking at the performance stats, you will be more dissapointed when you have bought a 1.2 8v. I persoanlly don't think they are as bad as everyone makes out on here though, i'm happy with mine.

really do want a corsa tho, just not at snail speed.

I got my 1.2 8v Vegas for £1145. Is shit slow... Not even a normal 1.4 for less than £1k?
