ive tried to clean my engine like i did in the corsa.... way too many wires kickin about to steam clean or jet wash it so i have to do it by hand...

before....




after....



i need to paint the fan housing cos its rusty as hell... and what can i do to my rocker cover cos the paints coming off..... but not sure what to do without taking it off?

£3.5K Hmmm maybe put conversion on hold for a bit then I still want 1 tho!!

What do you think the stats would be with a 1.8 225bhp Quattro engine in a Mk1???

dont know hun

mates got a mk2 with a 1.8 20 v quattro engine in it and hes running 320bhp at the mo

theyre pretty heavy cars but not sure bout the cabby.... dare say itd be pretty damn fast though

ive broke something on the car since cleaning the engine

temp is right up and light flashing

im not sure what turbo he is running but its a new one i know that much cos he blew the last one up

and engine is better but ive broken it while cleaning it... now ive got this array of lights and check out the temp gauge

to be running that power, it wont be the standard turbo, just curious to know what turbo its running, id assume its the IHI from jabba but it may be the E05 and if so i wanna know what he thinks of the E05 as ive been offered one really cheap

no it doesnt work

im going to my mates now so he can hav a look at it for me ( hes a VW perve)

engine is defo cold tho so i aint concerned, temp gauge on mfa showin 72 its normally at about 90 so i know it was cold still

not worried bout head gasket its already leaky

stuart ill find out asap for you mate

On the temp note, could be you got a little water into the sensor and its messing the signals up
