does anyone recommend insurance for a 18 year old girl? will be first insurance.

tried LOADS of places prices range from £859 (tesco) to £2,500 (zenith) but average is £1200. its only a 1.0 so £859 seems pricey.

anyone recommend a insurance/broker? preferably 1 that isnt so obvious cos ive tried most of the well known ones.

850 seems quite cheap, considering she's only 18.

I think £850 is really good. Is that fully comp or not?

Yeah, £850 aint too bad as you're 18. Its the age thing, not the fact that it's a 1.0 i think. It would probably still be as high even if you had a 800cc Matiz!

A lot of companies have narrowed the gap. Seems like they're trying to persuade people to take out fully comp. policies.

Yeah most insurance companies take the piss when you're a young driver. Have you tried doing it in girls name with dad as named driver?

Companies like Elephant and Admiral (the same underwriters) actually drop the premium if you add experienced drivers like your parents.
Try www.bell.co.uk too.
