say you took your car to be traded in and they offered you £500, you argue that its worth more as the alloys, suspension and exhaust is uprated stuff with lifetime guarentee, they say it doesn't make a difference, agree a price and leave saying u'll return car when new one is ready.
so you go back and have taken off the alloys, suspension and exhaust and ask for the same £500 as the mods didn't make a difference.
if they offered you less as its sitting on steelies with a rusty exhaust etc, would you dispute this?

As long as the stuff your putting back on isnt fucked then they cant really moan. TBH though, for £500 you not looking at much of a car, so its most likley going to be quite rough which would have been reflected in the price to start with.
