im only paying for 1meg.... ive not been told im getting a free upgrade

think ill keep schtum, last time this happened with NTL i had 1meg for a year by accident was only payin for 256k

when i rang up and asked, she said "ooh youve had free net for nearly a year"

so i said to her " cant u pretend i didnt ring "

yep fraid so, they done that with alot of people, it means ur line can support upto 2mb and is connected at that speed but its been capped by tiswilly

basically BT Exchanges are getting a complete revamp.
ISPs are getting charged per gigabyte downloaded rather than the bandwidth speed itself.

So everyone's getting upgraded to 2mb/s.
You're ISP's won't know exactly when they will happen for you, this depends on you're bt exchange, so they won't be emailing you about the change.
