Chris, you need to tel lthe router that requests on port 80 need sending to you local IP Address... otherwise the router stops it cos it can't find a HTTP Server....
Set xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:80 (External IP) to faward to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:80 (Your PC)
Think you need to do 8080 also.

you just simply put the port number in theat you want teh traffic forwarded to your machines address.
so i use say for example 8080 and i want the traffic on this port to go to my pc which is on IP address of 192.168.0.2

type ipconfig into a dos box and read the ip addy although if you havnt got static ips set up, then everytime you boot (if theres more than one pc sharing the connection) then you might get a different IP address - which makes the port forwarding pointless - so set up static ips if you need port forwarding
if your the only pc accessing games/p2p etc then set up your pc with a static ip addy and use DMZ - its what i do, saves having to piss around with port forwarding
