Right, jus been thinking about what i want in a job. And having a little trouble.

Say theres 2 scenarios

1 - Job what you have wanted to do for years, but doesnt seem that important anymore. Would be working in a small office, family run, not many people (if any) my age, for an average pay. could drive there and would have more say into what goes on.

2 - Work for a big company, in a big young office, but not doing exactly what i wanted (some elements still there). pay would also be better. wouldn have much of a say around the office, and would have to get the bus. This office in in the city too.

Option 2

As you can progree to something you can do , and experiance seems to mean more than qualifications these days.

Depends how much more the 2nd job pays if you're traveling up to the city everyday, got to be a couple of grand in travel expenses each year

I was in this situation -- chose Option 2.

Don't really like the living in central london bit as I miss my open spaces and working on the car etc, but the job has much better prospects.

Do it while you're young -- can always settle into an 'easy life' later...
