well i filled it out with all details of the car. got my policy / quote / updated price (which i am still gunan be paying) extra £227 + £25 admin fee (fuckin cocks) £227 for bigger brakes, suspension and the required stuff needed for a Let conversion lol. i shoulda but forgot to say on the phone when findign out why it had gone up, am i meant to have left it with standard suspension and brakes on ? and made it more unsafe / un driveable and have cheaper insurance for a higher class of danger...
Made me laugh.... takes piss

of course its going to cost more you sillyboy.
you've put a 200bhp (std) engine into a shitty small shell, IT WASNT MEANT TO GO IN THERE.
I see your point about bigger brakes/suspension, but this also means you are more likely to go at high speeds and take corners harder

it probably would've cost even more than £227 if you said you had standard stuff.

LOL i alreayd had taken my quote out... for the let.. just found it funny that they made insurance higher for brakes which are required and suspension ... cant say they expect u to keep standard brakes and suspension with that engine etc.. lol

But again think of it Dan, if I have a LET but 1.2 8v brakes, I'm not likely to exceed to silly speeds (so he says...). But once you have big brakes and stuff I'll be content with doing 120mph+++

Well with 1.2 8v brakes say u do 70mph (on the limit for correct roads) i cant see it beign all that good at stopping with all that extra weight

i heard you dont actually have to pay admin costs? i read it in a book, its just a way to get more money, and you can request not to pay it. or something...
