Coming from my GSi. The brakes are shit as well so im thinking it could be related?

But the guy i bought it off today had it MOT'd today so im a bit concerned how it passed an MOT with shit brakes

Any thoughts?

not as hot as they are after u drive it and they are knackered

mine were smoking yesterday and even the wheel was too hot to touch

The brake light would come on if it was low on fluid. The clutch... simple test floor it and if it doesnt go anywhere and rev then its slipping.

i painted my calipers on the car and then drove it up the road and it didnt smell of burning
