Get my Rear Arches flared on a corsa.

Got some 17s but struggling to fit em in2 the rear arches

Will doing this allow enoigh clearence to get passengers in the back of the car without the wheels scraping the arches???

what is the off set of the wheels?
i had some ET40 on mine and they scrubed, cut back the arches and had no probs
