If i change my log book to 1.4 16v from 1.0 12v will my reg come up as a 1.4 16v on an internet quote.

PS: Can i insure this as a standard 1.4 16v corsa or does it have to be an engine conversion.

Intresting query, if you have changed the plate on the logbook then the details held at the DVLA will filter through to the insurance companys so if you do a online quote with the reg plate surely it will come up as whatever engine is in it.

Do you follow.

wierdest thing was...my nova was on its v5 as a conversion from a 1litre spin to a 1389cc lump, and it was all filled out n sent to me from dvla, but they hadnt actually registered it on their database, so noone would insure it as anything other than a 1400...that messed with me head
