If someone that used to be a friend all of a sudden decided to make accussations against you that you and your girlfriend were harrassing them with abusive phone calls and text messages?
I used to be mates with this lass but then she didnt get on with my girlfriend so she said she doesnt want to be mates with me, I wasnt that bothered as she wasnt a good friend anyway. But now she says that I have been phoning her up and wont leave her alone sending her emails and texts?!
Today I had an answerphone message off this lasses mum saying that she is calling about me harrassing and upsetting her daughter and that if I dont answer the phone then she will be calling the police about it.
They are scousers and they have always lied about everything as long as I have known them. Should I be worried if they get in contact with the police as surely the police can find out my call records and then see Ive never called her once or sent txt messages?!
All I want to do is get on with my life. I think this lass that is causing the shit possibly fancies me or something. Is there anyway for them to create false evidence as I havent called her once in the past 3 months!!
What would you do if you were me? Im sick of it all as I have done nothing wrong!! should I just let her call the police and then it will be proven Ive never done anything but I cant be bothered with all the hassle, just want it to go away!

If you have nothing to hide don't worry about it
If they are harrassing you say you are going to the police yourself they will soon leave you alone

The only reason anyone would ever hate you is because they want to be just like you.

If you have a contract phone you can prove you havent called or txt her and the police would ask for copies of the emails and txts for evidence.
If anything they would just give you a caution. Keep the answer phone message incase they do

My mate was harrassed by her ex and they told her to write everything down like when he called or txt, what he said etc.
He called when the police were round her house and they told him that he would recieve a caution if it happened again

Ive kept the answerphone message for evidence if it comes to it. Ive got nothing to hide, I just cant be arsed with all of it. once your accused of something the police will give you a hard time till you can prove otherwise.
Im on a contract phone and Im pretty sure that the lass that is accusing me of this is on contract too so should be able to get call records? They have also said my girlfriend calls her, she is on a pay as you go phone. Will we be able to get call records to prove she hasnt done anything either? Also my girlfriend doesnt have this lasses number so how could she call!!!!

I'd get in there first if they carry on.
Sounds like the girls got a bit upset and gone crazy if her mother rings again, say calmly that you have been doing no such thing, if she wants to go to the police let her, and that if she contacts you again without having spoken with the police you will be contacting them yourself, don't take any shit.

Contact the police, explain what has happened, it looks like they are harrasing you, not the other way round.
Change your number

Not if he contacts the police, explains whats happened and says the only way he can stop being harrassed is if he changes his number.
He could block the numbers he is being called off, but it is more than likely they will find another way to call him

Tom - yes she is acting like a physco. Ive allready thought what to say if her Mum rings. I wont be offensive, I'll tell her that Ive never rung her daughter and that if she wants to take the matter up with police then she can do. I am half thinking they are bluffing on calling the police as if they do my call records will prove me innocent!
I think I will try to have them blocked from calling my phone. I am also getting a new phone contract in another month as this one finishes then so I'll have a new number. If I continue to get calls then I will go to the police. Dont want that to happen, just want them to leave me alone!

No its not. They can bring up call records for any phone. And who you have sent texts to.
