its a nova's 1400SR engine with about2.5K spent on it altogether (only the engine). running twin 40 webbers dcoe's as you can see fast. little bit faster than a 106 gti, and thats out of a 1400 8v
pushing around 130bhp main power figure and 100+ @ the wheels. tinkered with it since it was rr'd you see, so i dunno exactly what its got

because twin webbers are fooking awesome matey. webbers sound better than throttle boies anyway, plus I have done the conversion with a couple of good mates, and have fully enjoyed every minute of it, next step for this engione-wise will be a LET, but thats a long way off yet. I've owned the car 2 years and it spends more time off the road than it does on lol

also i sort of wanted to prove a point about how a small engine can take the piss out of certain, much bigger cars off the lights. the corsa has 79lb ft of torque, and considering its completely stripped out as it is, then its like shit off a shovel at the lights

its a carbed 1400engine, which is why i did it so that i could fit twin 40's

interior... erm, what interior LOL
I have had 4 cobra monaco's retrimmed in white leather... i have 2 of them fitted, and the other 2 are for in the back ...

and i am working on turning every panel/doorcard inside into fibreglass ones and they WILL be sprayed up white, with a possible chrom flake laquor to them.

I have 3x 15" vibe pulse subwoofers aswell to squeeze back into the boot area

anybody who thinks that i am blagging about tghis speak to jacko (boyracer2002) he's a mate and knows the score

So is that the std NV head on the 1.4 (squareport)?? As it's not brilliant for power.

If you can get your hands on a SE (round port) head then you have bigger valves and better port design and will bump your power up plenty.

Oh and I fail to see how carbs sound any different to TB's??

its bored out to a 1500 and i cant do much more to get more power from it mate. i dont want to spend any money on this engine now as £2.5k is far too much as it is. gives me my cheap thrills anyway for nwo... roll on the next engine conversion in this... LET

and to be honest you have just completely confused me with your square ports and roundports lol. seriously, theres like 130bhp out of it there, not much more will make a big enough difference for me to bother for the money it costs
